The Laboratory Reactor is a modularly configured lab-scale reactor system for optimising and reproducing chemical reactions, mixing and homogenisation processes, built around a versatile agitator-mounted reactor cover.
How It Works
The reactor's cover carries multiple open ports, allowing dispersers, temperature sensors, flow breakers and other accessories to be attached alongside the agitator to suit the specific process being run. Microprocessor-controlled speed regulation keeps the stirrer running at a steady, infinitely variable speed even under load, while a live torque-trend display helps the operator track viscosity changes as the reaction proceeds. The system is rated for vacuum operation, with solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM) seals wherever seals contact the sample, and a removable wireless controller (WiCo) lets the operator run and monitor the reactor safely from outside a fume hood. A safety switch and telescoping stand support safe day-to-day handling.
