The Magnetic Laboratory Stirrer RET Basic is a combined heating and stirring platform with a very broad temperature range and fast heat-up times, available in a stainless-steel-surface RET basic model and a white, chemical-resistant coated RET basic C model.
How It Works
An electronic speed control drives the magnetic stirring function smoothly from 0 to 1,500 rpm, with high magnetic adhesion keeping the stirring bar securely coupled to the drive even at higher speeds or with viscous samples. The heating plate reaches its set temperature quickly, operating across a very broad range from room temperature up to 340°C, while an adjustable safety circuit (settable between 50°C and 380°C) provides an independent over-temperature cut-off to protect the sample and instrument.
