The Leak Test Apparatus is a vacuum-based instrument designed to check the leak-tightness of packed strips, blister packs, small sachets and ampoules, helping quality-control teams identify seal defects before packaged products reach the market.
How It Works
The sample is placed inside the test chamber, and an oil-less vacuum pump draws down to a programmable vacuum level, which is then held for a set duration. A slow-venting release brings the chamber back to atmospheric pressure gradually, reducing sudden pressure shock that could otherwise mask a genuine leak or damage a borderline seal, giving more reliable pass/fail results. Both the vacuum level and hold time are user-programmable to suit different pack formats.
