Magnetic Stirrers Without Heating are gentle, heat-free stirring instruments purpose-built for biology and microbiology applications, protecting heat-sensitive samples while still providing a wide, controllable speed range.
How It Works
The insulated top plate is thermally isolated from the motor beneath it, so motor heat is never transferred into the sample — an important feature since this stirrer has no heating function of its own and is intended purely for mechanical mixing. To further protect delicate samples, the stirrer's rotation speed ramps up slowly to the pre-programmed set speed rather than starting abruptly. A white-coloured PVDF top plate makes colour changes easy to see during titrations, and the durable polyamide housing keeps the unit compact with a small laboratory footprint.
