The Microtitre Shaker provides reliable, regulated orbital shaking for two or four microplates, driven directly by a brushless motor for consistent, low-maintenance operation.
How It Works
A direct-drive brushless motor moves the platform in a small 2 mm orbit, agitating the microplates evenly without the belt or gear wear associated with older shaker designs. Speed is fully variable from 150 rpm to 1,200 rpm and is both set and displayed digitally, while an integral timer allows continuous operation or a timed run anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours. The standard configuration holds two microplates, with an optional platform available to expand capacity to four microplates.
