Heat-On Attachments are solid, flask-shaped heating inserts that fit precisely to a specific flask geometry, replacing an oil bath with direct, high-surface-contact heat transfer and a superior chemical-resistant PTFE coating.
How It Works
Each attachment is moulded to fit a specific flask shape precisely, maximising surface contact between the flask and the heating element for fast, even heat transfer. The unique solid design eliminates the fire and contamination risks associated with spilled oil or solvent from a traditional bath, and because there is no liquid medium to break or leak, it also removes a common cause of glass breakage around the heating zone. A PTFE coating gives the attachment superior chemical resistance, and the direct-contact design allows 1,000 mL of water to heat up to 66% faster than in a conventional oil bath, while still providing precise temperature control up to 260°C.
