How It Works
A one-stage diaphragm mechanism provides continuous, oil-free pumping of gases and vapours for modest vacuum requirements, making the pump an excellent, low-maintenance solution for single or multiple filtration setups. Unlike a water-jet pump, the diaphragm pump consumes no water and therefore produces no contaminated waste water during daily use — an important advantage for vacuum filtration tasks in chemistry, microbiology, and wastewater control and analysis, where sample preparation often relies on vacuum filtration. In the chemistry-design variant, every major component in contact with the pumped media is manufactured from chemically resistant fluoroplastics, giving the pump broad compatibility with aggressive vapours.
