How It Works
An orbital drive moves the platform through a 2 mm orbital diameter for thorough, even mixing, powered by a maintenance-free brushless DC motor for long, reliable service life. Speed and time are both set and monitored via a digital display, with variable speed from 300 rpm to 1,800 rpm and a timer settable from 1 to 99 minutes or continuous mode. Interchangeable clamps allow the platform to accept different microplate sizes, and a foam attachment is included to hold 20 x 1.5/2 ml microtubes when tubes rather than plates are being shaken.
