The Compact Vacuum Controller is a fully-equipped, two-point vacuum regulator with a chemical-resistant suction line valve, offering capacitive, gas-type-independent absolute pressure measurement via an alumina-ceramic diaphragm sensor.
How It Works
Where a base-unit vacuum controller needs a separate vacuum control valve as an accessory, the Compact Controller integrates this into a single, fully-equipped two-point regulator. When connected to its vacuum valve, the controller automatically detects the boiling point during solvent evaporation and switches into two-point control mode, adjusting vacuum in response to the process rather than following a fixed setpoint. Desired vacuum levels and other parameters can be combined and controlled individually for specific applications, and the whole system is operated through an interactive, graphic touch display that has been designed to work even with safety gloves on. Predefined vacuum processes give reproducible results and save setup time, while a fully automatic evaporation mode starts a run at the touch of a button; an easy-to-use application editor also lets users build and save their own custom processes, supported by an integrated help function. An integrated ventilation valve, which also supports inert gas, allows the system to be vented safely at the end of a run.
