How It Works
The sample is placed in the cast-aluminium test pot, sealed air-tight against its upper part. An electric mini-compressor supplies air pressure and holds it constant during the test, while a dial gauge directly displays the entrained air content over a wide 0-50% range.

Q1. What standard governs air content testing with this meter?
EN 413-2 and EN 1015-7 specify the pressure method for the air content of fresh mortar. ASTM C185 uses a different, mass-based method with a 400 mL measure, so it is not run on a pressure meter.
