Portable Flexural Test Device Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CTE-10436
The Portable Flexural Test Device from Tvet Equipments is an economical, simple three-point flexural test jig with a single upper roller that fits any type of compression machine, letting laboratories add concrete beam flexural testing to existing equipment.
How It Works
A concrete beam specimen is supported on two lower bearers within the device's frame, and the compression machine's ram applies load through the device's single upper roller at the beam's mid-span, in a center-point (three-point) loading configuration. The device accommodates two common beam specimen sizes, giving laboratories flexibility for different maximum aggregate sizes.

Applications
This device is used to carry out center-point loading flexural strength tests on concrete beams to ASTM C293, or to EN 12390-5 using its centre-point option, its economical single-roller design letting laboratories fit flexural testing capability to any compatible compression machine rather than needing a dedicated flexural testing machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What standard governs this flexural test method?
ASTM C293 specifies centre-point loading, the single-upper-roller method this device provides, and EN 12390-5 includes it as an alternative to two-point loading. IS 516 uses two-point (third-point) loading, so IS 516 tests need a two-point flexural attachment.
Q2. What beam sizes can this device test?
It accommodates 100 x 100 x 400/500 mm and 150 x 150 x 600/750 mm beam specimens, covering common maximum-aggregate-size requirements.
Q3. Can it be used with any compression machine?
Yes, it is designed as a simple, economical device that can be fitted to any type of compression machine to add flexural testing capability.
