The Auger Power Head is an engine-driven drive unit that powers a hand auger for faster, less labour-intensive soil boring during site investigation, designed for single-operator use.
How It Works
A compact two-stroke engine drives the auger head through a gearbox, allowing one operator to bore holes for soil sampling and identification without manual turning effort. All engine controls are grouped together for single-hand operation, and the unit is built around a chrome-lined cylinder with a forged-steel drive shaft and connecting rod for durability under repeated site use. The auger flight/bit itself is supplied separately and is selected to suit the required borehole diameter and soil type.
