Shrinkage Mould detemination Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CTE-10529
This Shrinkage Mould is used for the determination of linear shrinkage of concrete, made from polish-surface mild steel, available in two specimen sizes with substantially leak-proof, distortion-resistant construction and a smooth internal finish.
How It Works
Fresh concrete or mortar is cast into the mould to form a prism specimen of the selected size; the specimen is later fitted with gauge studs and measured over time using a length comparator apparatus to determine the linear shrinkage as the specimen dries and cures.
Technical Specifications
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Specimen Dimension | 75 x 75 x 280 mm / 100 x 100 x 400 mm |

Applications
Used to cast prism specimens for linear shrinkage determination of concrete per ASTM C157/IS 516, working alongside a length comparator apparatus to track dimensional change over the specimen's curing and drying period.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does this shrinkage mould come in?
Two specimen sizes: 75 x 75 x 280mm and 100 x 100 x 400mm, in polish-surface mild steel.
How is linear shrinkage measured after casting?
The cast specimen is fitted with gauge studs and measured over time using a length comparator apparatus, tracking dimensional change as the specimen dries and cures.
What construction features does this mould have?
It is substantially leak-proof and rigid enough to hold its form without distortion, with a smooth internal finish for clean specimen demoulding.
