The Advance CBR Loading Tester 50kN is a newly redesigned, bench-mounting California Bearing Ratio (CBR) loading machine with a rigid, compact frame and a DC motorised drive system for more reliable, highly accurate test results than earlier models.
How It Works
A compacted soil specimen in its CBR mould is loaded onto the machine's platen; the DC-motor-driven ram advances a standard penetration piston into the soil at a controlled rate, while load and penetration are recorded to derive the California Bearing Ratio. The DC power motor reduces vibration and noise during testing compared with older drive designs, and rapid platen adjustment speeds up specimen changeovers between tests.
